A very striking diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This gorgeous mixed metals design is crafted in 18kt gold and topped in platinum. The flat, circular centerpiece features a sparkling old Mine Cut diamond at the center, which weighs approximately .50ct and has estimated H color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is held within a milgrained bezel, and surrounded by a solid black enameled border. The rich, glossy black enamel is the perfect compliment to the sparkling diamond halo, which is comprised of chunky old Rose Cut diamonds in a pavé setting. Completing the design are fine filigree cutouts below the top, and a smooth gold shank in the back. Measurements: The ring has a small finger size 4, but could easily be resized. The circular centerpiece measures 1/2" in diameter, and rests approximately 1/8" above the finger when worn. The gold band measures 2mm wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum-topped gold setting. The enamel is intact and free of chips or scratches. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
